beginning of the end....continued

Now, let me tell you a story. A story of how a beginning leads to an end. The story starts as…One day a small opening appeared on a cocoon, a man sat and watched for the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body out through that little hole. Then suddenly it seems to stop making any progress. It appeared as if the butterfly now will not be able to force its body out further. So the man decided to help the butterfly. He took a pair of scissors and opened the cocoon. The butterfly then emerged easily. But it had a withered body; it has tiny and shriveled wings. The man continued to watch the whole process He was feeling excited to see this nature’s show he expected that at any moment the wings would open, enlarge and expand to be able to support the butterfly’s body and become firm. Neither happened! In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a withered body and shriveled wings and not able to fly throughout its life. What that man, in his kindness and at the same time lack of patience did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening were god’s own way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieve its freedom from the cocoon.

Sometimes struggles show us the meaning of how to achieve anything in our life. If God allowed us to go through our life without any obstacles it would cripple us. We would not be as strong as we could have been.
Thus, the above story can be seen through different perspectives. With respect to the butterfly’s arc of vision, the end conquered the beginning due to lack of knowledge and patience of the man towards nature’s act. But from that man’s arc of vision it is his kindness and nature of assistance towards the butterfly that leads to this whole chaos.

to be continued...
